NORA: New Song Posted Online
April 26, 2007Trustkill recording artists NORA have debuted a new song, "Somebody Call Somebody", on Trustkill.com. The song is taken from the band's upcoming full-length CD, "Save Yourself" due on June 19. The New Jersey-based band — made up of Carl Severson (vocals),Portland (guitar),Steve Chladnicek (guitar),Mike Olender (bass) and Chris Ross (drums) — will make its first appearance of 2007 at the New England Hardcore and Metal Festival this Friday, April 27. The group has also confirmed a performance at the Bamboozle festival in May.
Commented Severson: "We're very excited to be getting on the road again. These festivals are always a good time, and we're ready to showcase the new NORA material."
"Save Yourself" was produced by Eric Rachel (ATREYU, LIFETIME, EVERY TIME I DIE) who worked with the band on 2003's "Dreamers & Deadmen", 2001's "Losers Intuition" and 1999's split with THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN.
NORA's last album, "Dreamers & Deadmen", was known for mixing in a dirty rock feel to the band's brutal hardcore and post-hardcore technicality.
